In the spring of 2008, just before the commencement of the 2008 Olympic Games, ArawjoTours offered its first trip to incredible China. The tour was a great success and is now back by popular demand as an ArawjoTours Classic. With thousands of years of history and a population of over a billion people, China has experienced triumphs and tribulations that span centuries and which have shaped her national character.  In 1989, the Communist-led government violently suppressed a student uprising in Tiananmen Square and in so doing appeared to embrace reactionary politics that seemed out of sync with the drift toward greater freedom in many countries.  Now, however, although in no way a democratic nation, China has allowed a great deal of economic liberalization which has made her a leading international competitor and has thrust the nation headlong into the modern era.  Ethnically homogeneous, the Chinese people are eager to display the power of their creative unity in a world of rapid change.  Come and experience with us the exhilaration of a people undergoing a major cultural transformation in this outstanding tour to Beijing, Xian and Shanghai, three of the most important cities in all of China.  Read below for complete itinerary details.
