TOUR PRICE:  The package price for this eleven days, all air-inclusive tour is only $2895.00 per person based on double occupancy (two to a room) and a minimum of 35 passengers.   Air Canada taxes are extra and are $107.00 (subject to change until ticketing).   For those traveling alone and wanting a single room, the single supplement for the ten nights is $999.00.

Daily Itinerary

Day 1: Calgary arrival / Banff

Arrival at Calgary airport where the group will be met by its full time tour manager/guide. As time allows enjoy a tour of Calgary. Transfer by coach passing the main sights - Calgary Tower, the famous Stampede park where the annual rodeo is held, and the downtown business district. Continue on through the foothills of the Rockies to Banff National Park. Overnight Banff.

Day 2: Banff

Depart for a full day sightseeing tour of Banff and Lake Louise. Highlights may include a ride on Banff Gondola (optional), Tunnel Mountain Drive, the Hoodoos, Surprise Corner, Banff Springs Hotel, Bow River Falls. Continue on to Johnston Canyon via Bow Valley Parkway. Visit Moraine Lake and the Valley of Ten Peaks, and on to Lake Louise. Highlights here include the Continental Divide, Kicking Horse Pass and Emerald Lake. Return to Banff for overnight.

Day 3: Banff / Jasper

Today travel along the Icefield Parkway, one of the world's most beautiful highways, passing some of Canada's highest mountains and most magnificent glaciers. Stop at Bow Lake, Crowfoot Glacier and pass by Peyto Lake before reaching the Columbia Icefield, which is one of the largest accumulations of ice south of the Arctic Circle. Enjoy the Columbia Icefield Glacier Adventure onto the Icefield for a close look at the ice formations. Continue to Jasper via Athabasca Falls and Sunwapta Falls. Overnight Jasper.

Day 4: Jasper sightseeing

This morning depart on an orientation of Jasper including the townsite, Pyramid and Patricia Lakes and the Maligne River Valley. Follow the valley to Maligne Lake and stop for a walk in beautiful Maligne Canyon to observe the narrow gorge and limestone walls. Observe the ever changing water level of strange Medicine Lake. Overnight Jasper.

Day 5: Jasper / Sun Peaks

Today cross the Yellowhead Pass heading west passing Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies. Drive via Valemount at the end of the 1300 km journey for salmon migrating up the Fraser River and south west to Clearwater and the beautiful Wells Gray Park, a vast wilderness area and a paradise for nature lovers. The Helmcken Falls are just one of the many natural wonders of the park. We continue our journey to Sun Peaks resort for overnight.

Day 6: Sun Peaks / Whistler

Drive south from Sun Peaks to Kamloops and then west along the shore of Kamloops Lake to reach Cache Creek then on to Lillooet which was Mile 0 of the Gold Rush Trail. Travel the beautiful Duffy Lake road which winds through the Coast Mountains to the ranch country around Pemberton. A short drive south lies the four season resort town of Whistler where we stay overnight.

Day 7: Whistler / Victoria

This morning drive to Horseshoe Bay via the Sea to Sky Highway along beautiful Howe Sound. Highlights include Shannon Falls and the Stawamanus Chief, the second largest standing piece of granite in the world and a popular rock climbing area. At the ferry terminal at Horseshoe Bay board the BC Ferry for the 1.5 hour crossing through the Georgia Strait to Departure Bay. Keep a lookout for your chance to view some of the local wildlife including bald eagles, seals and even orca whales! Then, we travel south along the Island Highway to Victoria. En route a stop is made at Chemainus where you can view interesting murals created by local artists and visit some of the quaint boutiques. Continue south along the Malahat to Victoria for overnight.

Day 8: Victoria / Vancouver

This morning enjoy a sightseeing tour of Victoria, the capital of British Columbia. Highlights include Beacon Hill Park, Bastion Square, the Parliament Buildings, Chinatown, the Inner Harbour and the historic Empress Hotel. Then visit to the world famous Butchart Gardens one of the most spectacular floral displays in Canada. Created early this century from a stone quarry, the different areas of the garden are planted such that they bloom year-round. Some of the highlights of the Gardens include the Italian gardens, Japanese gardens, the English rose garden and the Star Pond. You will transfer to Swartz Bay for the 90-minute cruise toTsawwassen from where it is a short drive into downtown Vancouver. Overnight Vancouver.

Day 9: Vancouver

Morning sightseeing tour of Vancouver with a drive around Stanley Park, stopping at the Totem Poles, then via Canada Place and the waterfront, Chinatown, historic Gastown (the oldest part of Vancouver)and Granville Island with its famous public market, art and craft shops. This afternoon, enjoy a visit to Vancouver’s North Shore, a great addition to a morning of sightseeing. Highlights here include the famous Capilano Suspension Bridge which spans the Capilano Canyon and the Skyride up Grouse Mountain for panoramic views over the city and Strait of Georgia. Return to Vancouver late afternoon and remaining of the day at leisure. Overnight Vancouver.

Day 10 : FREE DAY Vancouver

Full day at leisure to explore Vancouver on your own. Overnight Vancouver.

Day 11: Vancouver departure

Time at leisure until your transfer to the airport for your flight home.
