Oktoberfest in Bavaria, Germany 2019

In late September and early October, 2012, ArawjoTours, LLC operated its first trip to the annual Oktoberfest celebration in Munich, Germany (we ran a similar tour in 2014 and 2017).  The tour was a fantastic adventure, one that should be experienced by every beer-lover in the world at least once in his or her lifetime--and that is no exaggeration!  But slaking down liter mugs of delicious brew while eating pretzels and roasted chickens in gigantic beer halls with thousands of fun-loving people wearing dirndls and lederhosen was only one of the many highlights of a tour that positioned us in a first-rate spa hotel in the heart of the Bavarian Alps. We stayed seven nights in the picturesque little town of Halblech, surrounded by farmlands, fresh country air and snow-capped mountains.  From this beautiful base, we explored nearby castles, huge mountains, the city of Munich (once for Oktoberfest and the second time for sightseeing) and even ventured into Innsbruck, Austria for a lovely day trip.  In the evenings the group bonded in the friendly atmosphere of the hotel restaurant and bar, where we dined on delicious German cuisine and drank copious amounts of liquid bread while being served by the friendliest young staff you will ever meet (also in dirndls and lederhosen).  The whole experience was like a very pleasant dream.  Everyone was delighted to have stayed in the countryside for a change rather than in a busy city. (This year we will stay in the beautiful town of Garmisch, which is a bit closer to Munich.)  The peace and quiet at night was so comforting and pleasant that it left us sad to leave our little home away from home.  If you would like to share in this experience, join us for this third trip to Bavaria.  Below is a complete list of the tour features, which are quite extensive.  Why celebrate Oktoberfest in America, when you can connect with the real deal that is nearly two hundred years old?  Hop on board and you will have the time of your life!
